Method
Small batch fermentation using selectod yeasts. Light French Oak integration and bottled young, juicy and bright.
Results
Heathcote consistently rewards us with rich purple fruits, dark cherry, light spice & fine tannins. It’s the wine we love – each glass is easy, exciting, and rewarding. One of those varieties that simply needs to be on your table, if not, on your radar.
Conclusion
The Heathcote wine region is gaining traction for Mediterranean varieties. We are repeatedly seeing the suitability of our climate in these wines. As more producers craft regional Tempranillo, we are further convinced and excited by its future potential. It is an exciting era for Heathcote, as we begin to show our ‘Shiraz-region’ has so much more to offer.
