Terms of service

The following terms apply to any orders and purchases you make from this website.

You must not order or purchase goods from us:
– if you are aged under 18;
– for re-sale purposes (all goods must be purchased for personal use); or
– which are outside any order limits or restrictions which we may apply to our wines on this site.

We may accept any order for the supply of goods (in whole or in part), or decline any order. We are not liable to you in respect of those goods that we are unable to supply to you, provided we refund any amounts paid by you in respect of the unsupplied goods.

Shipping Terms & Conditions

Selecting Shipping
We’re a small business, and automating all aspects of our site can be tough. If you select the incorrect shipping, your order will be delayed. We will contact you via phone to finalise the correct payment before we send you your order.

We are also legally required to establish our customers are over 18. For this reason, your wine must be signed for with Identification the first time you order from us. On subsequent orders, you may request permission to leave and supply instructions for delivery services.

Orders

Please note that we cannot deliver wine outside of Australia. We are also not obliged to deliver the goods to a location where our nominated carrier or agent does not provide delivery services.

Aramex is our chosen carrier. Occasionally we choose to use Australia Post or a private courier company. If you wish to choose a specific carrier, this is available on request. NOTE that extra shipping charges may apply.

“Bloody shipping!” you mumble. Don’t sweat it, I buy online and live in one of those pesky “other” areas so I get it. Good news –  if you are obsessed with dodging shipping like me – make sure you are on our Mailing List. You will get word of specials AND an extra 5% off wines online ON TOP of whatever special we are offering #winnerwinnerwinewithdinner. Often this discount covers the cost of shipping. We also have FREE SHIPPING on bottles in Bendigo & Campaspe shire (NO minimum ORDER), as well as VICTORIA & Capital Cities (6 or more bottles). Our other Shipping locations are heavily subsidised.

Accepting Your Delivery
You must be 18 years or older to place an order and receive a delivery.
The person (18 years or older) WHO PLACED THE ORDER (addressee) must be available to sign on delivery and is required to produce identification.
If this is not possible at delivery the courier will contact you to arrange pick-up from a depot or re-delivery.
If you anticipate no one will be around to sign for the package you can add ‘Authority to Leave’ onto the order notes at checkout. By instructing this you agree that you are liable for your purchase and accept all responsibility from when it is given to the carrier. In this case, YOU MUST HAVE PURCHASED FROM US BEFORE so we have completed (via delivery carrier) an ID Check.

Discounts
A  discount of 5% is available online for Mailing List customers (existing & new). Use the coupon code LIST5 on checkout. NOTE this discount applies to both full-price AND promotions – YEP you can double dip!

Damaged Goods
Someone will reimburse you for broken bottles in line with our carrier’s policy (Aramex). If they don’t look after you we will tickle them till they agree to, or we will most likely fix it up ourselves and never speak to them again!
To help us out with this laborious, shitty process – In the event you are presented with a shipment that appears to have been Damaged in Transit you should:

  1. Gasp abhorrently and refuse to accept the delivery.
  2. Direct the delivery agency to Return Goods to Sender.
  3. Notify us a.s.a.p.

If you have already accepted delivery, and later notice that the product has been damaged during transit you should leave the parcel as is (we will ask that you take photos for our transport claim) so we can process the return as “Damaged in Transit”. IT is much, much harder (most likely impossible) to receive reimbursement after you have accepted delivery of the goods.

NOTE – If you choose Authority to Leave there is no claim process available.

How long will it take to arrive?
Any delivery timeframes specified by, well pretty much everyone, are indicative only. We are not liable for any loss or damage that you may suffer if delivery is not made within the expected delivery timeframes or it is delayed for any reason. Please don’t hate on us for things that are out of our control. If I could deliver every package personally I would (I love podcasts in the car and time to myself, so this would suit me really well) however I am most often needed elsewhere.

We aim to process your order and hand it over to our carriers within 1-3 days regardless of weekends etc. No pesky business hours around here! That being said I am human, have sheep, children, grapes to look after so would prefer if you allow a few days grace in your calculation so you don’t loathe me if something crops up. We really, really, REALLY don’t wish to let anyone down and want you to be happy and enjoy our wine, so know that your order means a lot to us and we will always do our best to get it to you asap!
