Description
Method
Harvested from a small planting perched upon the prized red soils of the Heathcote Mt Camel range. We pick early (Pinot Grigio style) to maximise natural acidity and delicacy in the wine. A single vineyard pick was cool fermented retaining some natural sugars, then bottled fresh – ready in time for spring.
Results
Our warm climate influence produce delicate stone -fruit flavours in Pinot Gris. Delicate aromas of pear, white flowers and light spice carry through generous mouthfeel to a zingy, fresh finish.
Conclusion
Grigio style wines (being the early harvest of Pinot Gris) are being swept up far and wide by those in the know. Newbies embrace them easily, old-hats enjoy them knowingly. It’s the great crowd pleaser. An uncomplicated choice – Grigio loves sunshine and easy food.
