Description
Conclusion
The Heathcote wine region is gaining traction for Mediterranean varieties. We are repeatedly seeing the suitability of our climate in these wines. As more producers craft regional Tempranillo, we are further convinced and excited by its future potential. It is an exciting era for Heathcote, as we begin to show our ‘Shiraz-region’ has so much more to offer.
All that is great about Tempranillo – a plush, juicy core of red and dark fruits – cherry, blackberry and plum. A further layer of herbal notes are entirely balanced by lively acidity and fine tannins. An exciting interplay between fruity and savoury; mature and energetic; powerful and soft.
